On November 10, the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) officially opened in Belém, Brazil. As the pioneer of long-range electric two-wheelers, TAILG was invited to attend the High-Level Forum on South-South Cooperation on Climate Change, where it presented the TAILG Green and Low-Carbon Global Development Plan, contributing Chinese enterprise solutions to global climate action.

COP30, one of the world’s most influential climate conferences, gathers representatives from nearly 200 countries to discuss global climate action. Focused on green transition and sustainable development, the participation of Chinese enterprises showcases their innovation, commitment, and the rising impact of Chinese solutions in global climate efforts.

Innovation and Evaluation, Driving Industry Upgrade

At COP30, TAILG President Yao Li introduced the TAILG Green and Low-Carbon Global Development Plan.
The plan centers on the Green and Low-Carbon Evaluation System for Smart Connected Electric Two-Wheelers, which leverages digitalization and AI to build a full life-cycle green management framework covering manufacturing, usage, and recycling—accelerating the industry’s sustainable transformation.

To better communicate the plan’s core ideas, TAILG also released an informational booklet at COP30, sharing its innovative green practices with global attendees.

In manufacturing, TAILG is establishing a green production system focused on zero-carbon factories, low-carbon design, and sustainable supply chains, cutting emissions and energy use during production.

In usage, it promotes digital mileage tracking, smart battery management, and efficient power usage, encouraging users to join the low-carbon movement.
In recycling, TAILG is building an eco-friendly recycling system for batteries and vehicles to advance the circular economy.

The system is scheduled to complete standard formulation and system development by 2026. Within five years, it aims to drive green, low-carbon upgrades across China’s and the world’s electric two-wheeler industry—creating a traceable, recyclable, and sustainable smart mobility ecosystem.

President Yao noted that TAILG’s global progress draws strength from Southeast Asia’s fertile soil, Africa’s sunlight, and Latin America’s passion. Moving forward, TAILG will continue to work with partners worldwide to promote low-carbon mobility under the South-South cooperation framework, injecting new vitality into sustainable global development.

Green Commitment, Achievements Worldwide

Since its founding in 2003, TAILG has remained committed to the concept of green, low-carbon, and global development, advancing the transition of the electric two-wheeler industry toward clean energy.

In 2017, TAILG signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), becoming a key force among Chinese enterprises participating in global climate governance.

Today, TAILG operates two zero-carbon factories in Huizhou and Wuxi—certified by the China Quality Certification Center—as benchmarks for green manufacturing. The company has also launched low-carbon pilot projects in Kenya, Uganda, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia, promoting replicable clean mobility solutions widely recognized by local governments and communities.

In Africa, TAILG developed solar-powered tricycles, realizing the dream of “sunlight driving wheels.” For regions such as Ghana facing power shortages, the TK90 battery-swapping series helps ease energy supply challenges, offering practical electrification solutions for developing countries.

With a sales and service network covering over 100 countries, TAILG continues to collaborate with the Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China and the Belt and Road Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen) to promote Chinese green and low-carbon technologies and standards worldwide.
